The waters off the Hawaiian Islands are nearly fathomless.  The islands themselves are the tops of mountains that extend 19,000 feet down to the seafloor.  The sound sessions captured on this CD were inspired by the majesty of these lands and the waters surrounding them. This CD features the harmonics of three distinct sets of singing bowls selected for their specific alchemies as well as their melodic qualities. The tracks are arranged so that each set (Kaua’i, Pele and Kryon) has a cameo that serves as a preamble to the longer tracks (Current, Deepwater and Channel) which blend the harmonics of all the bowls.  Recorded and engineered by Will Lydgate at Kauai’s Steelgrass Studios, this CD comprises over 70 minutes of transcendent soundscape created by Crystal Lober using Alchemy Crystal Singing bowls.
